Phase 4: Design Execution
Sometimes referred to as the "Production Phase", this phase does not require Client signatures as all details have been approved before phase begins. However, if the Client initiates design or content change orders, the project must be taken back to the appropriate phase for development and approval. Depending on the complexity of the
modifications, changing specifications in the middle of this phase could possibly incur more costs or addendum estimate and warrant a budget revision.
Phase 5: Testing, Quality Assurance and Delivery
- Final site installed and tested on staging server
- Final site installed to inactive directory on hosting server
- Final site moved to directory with official IP address & domain name
